Quality recognition for your self-catering accommodation
Is self catering quality assessment and recognition for me?
If your accommodation is self-contained and includes a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom facilities, you qualify for Self Catering recognition. Most self-catering accommodation will take bookings by the week, generally from a Friday or Saturday, but short breaks are increasingly common.
Assessment levels
There are 3 different levels of assessment for Self Catering:
- Quality Star Rating – receive a star rating from 3 to 5
- Quality Assessed – a full assessment with no star rating
- Visitor Ready – an entry-level digital accreditation scheme
