Is this the scheme for me?

This scheme assesses chalets that are used as holiday accommodation on a seasonal basis. They tend to be small one- or two-storey units situated in a chalet park and have access to common facilities, such as refuse disposal. Chalets assessed under the scheme must be permanent structures and require individual planning consent.

Fully brick or stone-built permanent houses or cottages can be assessed under the VisitEngland Self-catering Scheme, and caravans and twin units can be assessed under the VisitEngland Caravan Scheme.

How to apply

• Download the information pack and review the Quality Standards relating to your scheme to find out more about what the assessor will be looking at when they come to assess your chalets
• Contact us to get a quote for joining the scheme
• Download and complete the application form, and return it to us with your complete payment. We accept payment by credit/debit card, BACS, cheque or direct debit
