Hadrian's Wall was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 122AD, Segedunum was built as part of the Wall, serving as a garrison for 600 soldiers until the collapse of Roman rule around 410AD. This major historical venture shows what life would have been like then, using artefacts, audio-visuals, reconstructed buildings and a 35m high viewing tower. Plenty of special events including craft activities and re-enactments from Roman cavalry and soldiers. Contact for details.
