Accredited Attraction
Owned by the same family since medieval times, the present Arley Hall is a good example of the early Victorian Jacobean style and contains fine furniture, plasterwork, panelling and family portraits. The gardens include a walled garden, unique clipped ilex avenue, herb garden, scented garden and a woodland garden with rhododendrons, azaleas and exotic trees, as well as the double herbaceous borders, some of the earliest to be established in England (1846).
